1. Controller
The controller of personal data is SIA Ambex, registration No. 40203316992 (“Ambex”, “we”). For questions about data processing, write to [email protected].
This policy covers the website ambexvideo.lv and the Ambex Video platform (dev.platform.ambex.lv), where sign-up, login, video processing and billing take place.
2. What data we process
- Account details: name, email address, company name (if given), email addresses of team members.
- Content: uploaded videos and what is made from them: transcripts, subtitles, titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails.
- Social network connections: connected channels, publishing and scheduling data, and statistics of published videos (views, reactions).
- Payment details: plan, invoices and payment history. Card details are processed by Stripe; we never see or store the card number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser information and activity logs needed for security and fixing errors.
The website ambexvideo.lv itself collects no personal data and uses no cookies.
3. Why, and on what basis
- To provide the service (account, video processing, publishing, support): performance of a contract, GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
- Billing and accounting: legal obligation, GDPR Article 6(1)(c).
- Security, preventing abuse and improving the service: our legitimate interests, GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
- Messages about the service (for example the end of the trial, invoices, changes to the terms): performance of a contract.
4. Processors
We use these processors to provide the service:
- Stripe: payments and invoices;
- Hetzner: servers and storage;
- Postproxy: publishing to social networks;
- ElevenLabs: speech recognition (transcription);
- Anthropic: AI texts (titles, descriptions, tags, subtitle checks).
When you publish a video, it is passed to the social networks you choose, and from then on their terms and privacy policies apply to it. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we do so with the safeguards the GDPR provides for, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep data
- Account details and content: while the account is active, or until you delete them. After an account is closed, its data is deleted within a reasonable time.
- Invoices and payment data: as long as accounting law requires.
- Technical logs: for a limited time, as needed for security.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive your data in a portable format. To use these rights, write to [email protected].
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (www.dvi.gov.lv).
7. Cookies
The website ambexvideo.lv uses no cookies. The platform only uses cookies needed for the login session and security. If analytics or advertising cookies are added in the future, we will ask for your consent before they load.

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, and we will tell you about significant changes by email.
