1. The service
Ambex Video is an online tool for short videos: speech recognition, editing through the text, sound processing, subtitles, AI titles and descriptions, thumbnails and publishing to social networks. The service is provided by SIA Ambex, registration No. 40203316992 (“Ambex”, “we”). By signing up on the platform you agree to these terms and the privacy policy.
2. Account
You log in with a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for access to your email and for what happens in your account, including what your team members do. The account owner manages billing and is admin of every workspace.
3. Plans and trial
- Plans, their prices and limits are on the pricing page. Prices exclude VAT.
- The first plan of an account has a 7-day free trial. A payment card is needed at sign-up, but nothing is charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before the end, nothing is charged.
- During the trial you can make 3 videos and download them. Connecting channels and publishing become available once the plan starts.
- One trial per account and per card.
4. Payment
- You pay by card through Stripe, monthly or yearly in advance. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until it is cancelled.
- Invoices are sent to the account's email.
- When the trial ends, the card is charged for the chosen plan.
5. Changing and cancelling a plan
- You can move to a bigger plan at any time. The new plan starts at once, the billing date moves to that day, and you pay the new plan's price minus the unused part of the current plan.
- Moving to a smaller plan on the same account is not possible.
- You can cancel the subscription at any time. The plan keeps working until the end of the paid period, then stops. Payments for a period already paid are not refunded unless the law requires it.
6. Limits
Each plan has a monthly video limit and other limits listed on the pricing page. A video counts towards the limit once: the first time it gets subtitles, is rendered or is published. If a video's first processing fails on our side, the count is given back. Unused limits do not carry over to the next month.
7. Your content
- The content you upload belongs to you. You give us the right to process it only as far as needed to provide the service.
- You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, including music, images of people and trademarks, and for the content not breaking the law or the social networks' rules.
- Uploading illegal content is not allowed. In such cases we may delete the content and suspend the account.
8. Social networks and AI
- Publishing goes through the social networks' interfaces. Published content is subject to those networks' terms. We are not responsible for their outages, changes or removal of content.
- Transcripts, subtitles, titles and descriptions are made automatically and may contain mistakes. Check them before publishing.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service running, but do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, our liability for damages is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will tell you about significant changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. We settle disputes by negotiation first and, if that fails, in the courts of the Republic of Latvia.
